rad. support question

Ok, after i finished fixin the rust on my radiator support(kinda tacky lookin) i was out at my grandpas boneyard lookin through some stuff and see a 67-68 grill so i grab it and it still has the rad. support on it, and it is in perfect shape(close enough for bein in kansas) has the battery box and everything, so my question is, how hard is it to make the 67-68 work on my 70, i know i gotta cut off the headlight buckets and weld them back on, but is it very hard????

thanks
kevin

That would be one I am needing to buy from you . As far as making it work on yours I only wish I knew. Someone is bound to have some answers though. Goodluck.

I assume it is a chevy? You will need to change fenders to 67-68 and also need the hood.67-68 are different from 69-72.

Just take good measurements off of the old one before cutting them off. I used a spot weld drill to remove them. I took horizontal ,vertical and diagonal measurements and they fit perfect first try. I also fastened them with self tapping screws in case they needed to be moved. You wont know how the fit is until the grille and headlight doors are back on. Good Luck John
