68 sbfs
Well after three different times of "almost ending up with it" I finally did.
Its been passed around between friends for about 6 months.. The entire frame of the truck is fresh, from getting blasted, coated in por 15, all new suspension, steering components and getting slammed. The body is a original unmolested 68. The rockers and cab corners are untouched. The only rust on the truck is some on the inner rockers, and passenger bedside down low. I got the truck with a set of black rallys and some 20s, but since I put the tires/wheels off my dropped 91SB on it. For paint I'm thinking a wanna do the patina look, red primer as a base coat with black top coat, then do a little fine sanding. Anyways, I'll shut up and let the pics speak for themselves. Let me know whatcha think!

Looks B!***in!
I'd say leave it like that, drop a nasty SBC in it, have the engine bay, interior all pretty and perfect to your liking and leave the rest the way it is, just to have a cool, beat sleeper with some rims :P |

Re: 68 sbfs
I really thought about doing that. The engine bay is all cleaned up. Its painted black like the frame and suspension. The motor I'm gonna drop in it is ust a sbc with a 510/510 lift cam. nothing special but it will sound good with the longtubes and flomaster 80s that are dumped before the axle.

Thanks for the welcome. I think for now I'll do just that. Anyone from the Ottawa KS area?
