always learning...

So, my son is working on border of Washington/Canada, on a mountain away from EVERYBODY and EVERYTHING. He sent me pics last week of old cars and trucks on top of said mountain, which i spotted a few 67-72 chevy and gmc trucks. I spoke to him today, and asked him to walk around trucks and tell me what he sees. He said one of the Gmc trucks said "GMC 920" on both sides. I told him he should know how to read by now!!! He insisted that is what it says. When I got home, I looked it up, and he was right. I did not know Canadian trucks were 920's and 930's instead of 1500's and 2500's.

anyone have one of these?

Yeah, that's true. It would ad to any US truck to run the Canadian Badges. The 67 GMC Super Customs have a "Custom" badge on the door, like Chevy CSTs and Customs, but it's a different badge than the Chevy. The US Super Customs have a unique fender badge/trim piece with "Custom" in script.

Re: always learning...

nice. i should have him ask for badges just to have. i remember a few months back seeing a robert redford movie (an unfinished life) where redford drove a "Mercury" pickup. Canadian version of a ford. thought that was cool.
