Shift Lever for tilt column
I had this aluminium shift lever in the addict for a few years and I thought today well why not put it in. So I took the standard lever out and noticed that they look totally different.
But looking online it looks like the one I have, and yet the one I took out looks not like it. It looks the wrong way round to me... Is the aluminium one the right one for a Tilt column?

Re: Shift Lever for tilt column
The aluminum shifter is for a later model truck column, and most '69 and later car columns, not for a '70-'72 truck or pre '81 van.

Re: Shift Lever for tilt column
Is that little hole on the aluminum lever a set screw? The hole down by the end that inserts into the column? They look the same if the steel piece was turned around, if that is a set screw maybe that steel piece turns to match the other lever?
