Actually I've had the interior torn apart the last couple of weeks cleaning it while the weather was crappy. I've had it almost 2 1/2 weeks and diven it 4 times total. 1 of which was driving it from Tulsa the day I bought it.

It's nothing special I assure you though. Just a clean dark grey GMC Sierra.

I'll post after the court date the results.

Re: CTrow's Truck

I have an 03 Sierra 1500HD and really enjoy it. Our 03 Tahoe is the dark charcoal/black metallic. Love it too.

You'll really enjoy the new truck. It's nice to just get in one and drive and not worry about if it's going to start, or what's going to break.

Truck is up for sale. Asking $4500 and includes a 95' LT1/Trans since I sold the TPI setup.

I give up on her.....

Re: CTrow's Truck

Eh, nothing of good quality. I guess if I'm to be serious I need to get better pics up, huh? Really the whole body is in primer but it's in pieces (excluding the fenders which I think I have pics of that are now painted black)

The truck is at my parents house which is over an hour away. If someone is serious I can get pics. Just need a serious buyer to do so.

Re: CTrow's Truck

It's there now. Took some time to load. Some weekend I'll probably go down and take some 'inventory' pics but with the holidays and other stuff, just need to find time.

Thanks for the comments, I hope you're right! And nice work on the inner fenders!!

Was checking out your thread due to the for sale post. What happened with the court date? Hope the body man at least has to make it somewhat right.

Re: CTrow's Truck

Got a settlement in small claims court. He was to pay $400 a month. Hasn't paid once. Took him back to court and he didn't show. So now a bench warrant for him. He will never pay. Court system doesn't allow for the collection of the funds easily. I'm biased but the courts are designed to protect the criminal not provide justice. At least when it comes to small claims.

I hear ya there. My wife's deadbeat ex-husband is still paying back child support, and will probably owe it for the rest of his life. Whenever he does go to court they threaten him of what they could do, and so on, but never do. He has been thrown in county jail twice for a month over it, and sad thing is when he gets out they start the whole process over again. It's crazy.

Cool Re: CTrow's Truck

CTrow,
I am currently in Afghanistan as a contractor for the US Army Aviation. I am very intrested in purchasing the truck, if it is still available. I will be home the first week on July, to Fort Hood Texas (Killeen Area). please advise if you will consider selling the truck, pending that you still have it then. I will make a road trip up there to get it. Will all the associated parts fit on a flat car trailer (rental U Haul probably) and short bed Z71 truck?

I have a buddy who is really intrested in it, and wants me to 'build' it for him, and I think that your truck is an awesome place to meet his goal for what he wants.

AC

Re: CTrow's Truck

This build was going so awesome, it's a shame to hear the results! Knowing what you have done with this build, I am sure you'll blow it out of the water with the next project! Best of luck with the deadbeat and I still can't believe how hard it can be to find a quality body man! Still looking forward to trying to shoot the paint myself, but that's a long while away...

I wish I had the extra money. I would love to own this project. I can't afford the one I have already. Good luck with the sale. It is priced cheap.

Re: CTrow's Truck

Thanks to Chris, his Mom and Dad helping me and my daughter with the loading of the truck!

The work that Chris and his family performed on the truck is top notch, and they are all a great group to do business with.

I am going to build the truck for a friend of mine, who is working in Afghanistan right now. I will start a new build thread, as soon as some things come together.

Never forgetting where the project started, I will give the credit to Chris and his family for the work they did, and highlight the changes that we are doing on it.

The build will more than likely be named after the buddy, probably B A Brown, since that is his name.

Later

AC
