Signal/horn ???

Ok guys here's the symptom. When I turn a corner the Horn blows intermittently.
My turn signal switch is worn and needs replacing but I don't know if that will cause the problem I'm having.
Also I can't seem to find any diagrams of the horn/turn signal assembly does anyone have one they can send me?

I want to get this taken care of so I can put the horn button, bellville spring and horn cup back in.I'm driving without the horn right now so I don't embarass myself by people thinking I'm honking at the little old lady in the Burke.

Is the turn signal lever kinda loose? I have seen quie a few trucks come through the shop (Guman trucks used this column for many years as did heavy C/40 Gm trucks and busses) that have loose levers. The lever grounds out on the horn mechanics and honks the horn.

yes, simply put, a worn turn signal switch and contact plate, number 31 I believe on the diagram, will cause the horn to honk intermittently

Thanks guys.I figured I needed to replace the horn and turn signal stuff to get it right.I had a pic from Haynes and thought that was the problem.I just like to have some backup on my diagnosis before I spend the hard earned $$$ for parts.
