Re: 1980 paint code
If you're up for it, you could spring $50 over towards the GM Heritage Center, and they will pull the build information for your specific truck.
Not only will that get you the actual paint code, but the RPO code for every option your truck was built with. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=469767 Armed with that information, you could get a new SPID label made if you chose to do so. K

Re: 1980 paint code
Now, relative to the paint itself, this site didn't have codes for 1980 but based on the 1979 chips....
http://www.tcpglobal.com/autocolorli...truck-pg01.jpg I'd have to go with code 65 Camel Poly or code 66 Saddle Poly... ...maybe? K

Re: 1980 paint code
I actually just got done with the inside the other month. I would leave it like it is but I really want it to look like its right off the show room floor.(mostly orginal)
Thanks for the site, I'll try that out. Last edited by Spain; 07-11-2011 at 03:31 PM. |

Re: 1980 paint code
I think the saddle poly looks like it, thanks alot. I guess the best thing to do is get a touch up kit and see if it matches.
