back after 10 years
returning to truck scene after 10 year drought. owned at least 20 of this body style over the years. I recently purchased a 68 CTS LWB project. Can anyone give me an over view of what exactly the custom sport truck has over a plain jane, other than trim and buckets?

Re: back after 10 years
Truck currently sits with no motor, other than that its complete. Originally had the 396. I wasnt sure if all CTS came with this option. It does have the buddy buckets and is originally gold and white, 50th anniversay? Is there such a thing as a CTS 50th?

Re: back after 10 years
The only way to truly tell if its a 50th is to look for the 551 paint code on the SPID. The 396 was not part of the CST package.

Re: back after 10 years
I believe a 6 cyl was also an option. It was possible to get a bare bones truck with the CST Option. I'll let other chime in. Also welcome back to the family.

Re: back after 10 years
I believe it does have the 551 paint code listed. Has anyone seen anykind of production figures for the 1968 with 396, CST, 50th? To badd the they threw a rod through the block, not that i am in to numbers matching.

Re: back after 10 years
Stroked, On your SPID you should have 551 paint, 627 interior, Z84 cst and if it's a fleetside, B98 moulding. If so then it's a 50th.
There are some production numbers on these trucks, but none that break down by options. 67 C30, I'm going to take post #2 as a complement
