55 Chevy 3100 1/2 ton chevelle rear swap

Hi, Guys I have a question on a 69-78 Chevelle Rear end I am installing in my 55 Chevy 3100 second series truck. I installed a camaro front. I got a great deal from a friend so I had to take it, I wanted to keep the rear a camaro so as to not get confused when I need to order parts, keeping things consistent.
I installed the rear end on my stock rear leaf springs. This Chevelle has some bushings towers on the top of the rear end for a stabilizer.
my plan is to use the stock arms and mount a bracket to the frame with the rear leaf springs.Has any one done this with stock leaf springs? or should I just cut the bushing towers off, and just use the stock springs. Also how is the ride with the stock springs and the camaro? here are some pictures of what I am up against.

Thanks
-Larry

The chevelles had a triangulated 4 link with coil springs which eliminated the need for a panhard bar.
If your running leaf springs I don't think the bars will do anything to stabilize the rear but I may be wrong.

you don't need the ears and the links that go on them when you're using leaf springs. the leaf springs locate the rear just fine. You can use a hacksaw type blade in a Sawzall to amputate the ears. no big deal.
