Power brake booster color
On a 70 chevy with power brake was the booster originaly black or gold cadium plated ? Also the mounting bracket ?

this is just a suggestion that has worked well on my 72. i used some silver por 15 and it looks great. again just a suggestion... my 72 is a work truck but like i said it's worked well.

Moraine Delco boosters were cad. Bendix boosters were black. Which do you have?

I think the brackets are supposed to be black...not 100% sure though.
I have a Bendix booster on my truck, painted black, so I painted the brackets gold cad to contrast. I think it looks fantastic, but not sure if it is "correct" or not. Others will chime in to confirm or deny this.

Thats where i am confused the booster is black ( my have been painted ) and the bracket looks like it was gold cad ??
