if it fits it ships! i neeeed posi and 3:73 i will check and verify of coarse. i have a spare 3.08 open ten bolt from an 85 sitting right now. will the parts cross over? thanks

Looks like you might have an axle spline count mismatch.

You also need to know if the rear end pictured is an 8.5" 10 bolt or a 14 bolt. They used both under those trucks . 1/2 tons had both but light duty 3/4 tons had the 14 bolt. Basically the same rear as a 90-93 454SS Truck but with 6 lugs. Since it has 3.73's it most likely came fron a 6 lug light duty 3/4 ton truck. If you buy the whole rear you can just have the axles redrilled or install Mosier replacement axles and will have a pretty strong rear. The 88-99 truck rears were only slightly wider . Barely noticeable.

thats what i was wondering cause i think the later models are 30 spline arent they?

Yes they are 30 spline , you can use the guts for sure with the conversion bearings and I have been told you can take about 1/16 of an inch off the newer axles and they will work also . you can also buy 30 spline axles for our trucks
