i have a 77 chevy pickup and i want to take off the tailgate band without messing anything up how do i do this?

4 screws on the backside of the tail gate

So know that we got that out the way. How do u put a band on a tailget
That did not have one..... .. drilling holes right the first time.... has any one done it... 87 silverado

If you have the tailband just measure the distance between the holes. If not I can measure them tomorrow..

you could also de-skin the tail gate ban and mark it from the bolt holes
