LSX swap exhaust manifold option.

Hi, just thought I'd throw this out there for anyone doing an lsx engine swap and needed some options for their exhaust. I bought a 07 LS2 takeout from a Trailblazer SS. I've gotten the engine in and thought I'd just try the manifolds that came with the engine to see if they even fit. Well, they fit very well in my opinion, not much if any massaging of the frame will be required! Anyhow I've already bought a set of Doug's LSX swap headers so I guess I will post these for sale in the parts section.

Just a few pictures I took to show the fitment.

Awesome post short-t! I have a set of '04 GTO manifolds that I was going to try but I might switch to these now.

Re: LSX swap exhaust manifold option.

I was thinkin' about those for my 67, but I just remembered the frame is 'thicker' up top on the older trucks...they won't work for me.

Re: LSX swap exhaust manifold option.

Hey Greg, looks good. Is the engine stock or did you go inside of it. What oil pan are you going to use.. Nice to see some local guys doing the LSX swaps. Mine is in, but I am hung up on the fuel system, what are you going to do. Did you buy a harness or rewire it yourself.. Keep up the good work.
