CA WTB 205 shifter for K5 w/th350 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I need a transfer case shifter for a K5 with a th350 and an NP205. I thought that all 205 shifters were the same but apparently they aren't (tried one off a sm465/np205 and it isn't the same (can't travel far enough to the rear without hitting the hump). Tried another that was angled wrong (may have been from a dana transfer case).

I also am hoping someone will be willing to ship quickly. I am trying to get the underside stuiff done with soon.

Help.

What year tunnel cover are you using? The 71-72 Auto/NP205 shifters come up through the tunnel offset more towards the pass. side and the 69-70 Auto/NP205 shifters were centered in the tunnel cover. Mel

Well...The hump I am trying to use came off a 72 that had an auto on the column and an NP205. The K5 is actually a 70 that had a 465 with a Dana transfer case. I guess what I am looking for is one for a 71-72. Thanks for the information Mel.

What all are you needing? I do have an extra 71-72 handle and knob.

The handle primarily. I have the bolt and washer. Could use the knob too probably, mine has a big gouge across the face. Frank

I have one the 71/72 style out of a 72 K10 thats been stripped and repainted black for $50 shipped, but i need to keep the knob.

Will try and get you a pic later tonight
