62 gmc suburban divorced Transfer case swap from a 221 to a 205: Need Help

My 221 divorced transfer case died on me, found a NP 205 divorced case from an 75 international PU. Want do I need to do the swap, mounts, u joints etc? No parts or mounts came with the 205.I need to fall back on everyones expertise.

Gonna need a cross member for the t-case to bolt to, then mount it to the truck. Might get lucky on the joints, could all be the same size. If not, take one of each to NAPA and see if you can get a conversion joint.

Do you know if a Dodge or the International crossmember fit the best.

I've heard that the Dodge will go right in, just drill the holes and install some bolts. The frames have the inside width. Dunno bout the Intersmashable....

I've got a np 201 from an international with the crossmember and it fits. Not installed yet but measures up just fine. Same width frame too.

Does anyone have a crossmember and bracket for a International or Dodge 205/201 divorced transfer case.

The one I have looks like it would be real easy to fab out of some 6"x2" c metal. I could take some measurements if you like. I'd post pics but the site won't let me for some reason
