Re: '71 Burb Build "The Family Car"
I definitely understand the problem of working on other people's cars all day, and then trying to stay motivated to work on your own when you get home!
I worked for a local Cadillac dealer not long after hi school, and went to GM Training Center for schooling. Once I got home I just couldn't get motivated. I decided I'd quit and get into another trade, and that was over 30 years ago. Never regretted it, and always played with cars ever since. I retired last year, and I spend almost every day working on one of my rides. It's even more fun now than it has been when I was working, regardless of what job I had!
