Maintenance question?

I have new headers and was wondering when I should retighten the flange bolts? I've driven the truck for about a week now.

And, can different grades of oil be combined together without any damage to motor? Can you mix in synthetic with regualr oil?

ok first off now is a good time to tighten up the header bolts after u get them tight you probably wont have any more problems just check about once a month to make sure they are staying tight. different grades of oil arent going to hurt anything but mixing synthetic with regular isnt really gonna hurt anything either. oil is cheap why not just change it all out

as far as header bolts go the best way to maintain them is every time you change your oil also tighten the header bolts

There are 2-3 new locking header bolt types on the market.I haven't tried any of them but maybe someone on the BB has.Hopefully they will post so we will know which ones work.
