54 front end parts question

I am going to look at a possible project soon, but the owner has disassembled the entire front end (fenders bumper grill hood radiator etc). He says he has all the parts but he just doesn't want to put it together. I was wondering if you guys could make me a list of all the parts just to make sure I'm not forgetting anything and that it's all actually there like he says.

Re: 54 front end parts question

I hate to keep bugging you guys but I was just trying to get some help to make sure I don't forget anything.

Inner fenders
Outer fenders
Grill
Hood
Radiator
Radiator support
Hood hinges
Hood latch
Battery tray
Headlights and bezels
Parking lights and blinkers
Anything else you could think of would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 54 front end parts question

You may also need the cowl panel, the cowl panel extensions, the removeable cover on the drivers side inner fender where the steering column passes thru, the sheet metal 'wings' on each side of the radiator, a fan shroud, the radiator top hold down bracket, radiator rubber cushions (4pcs). The 2 hood supports if not in the hood, The grill panel, the 2 triangular covers that bolt on betweent the grill panel and the radiator support.

There may be more, but thats all else I can think of at the moment.

Re: 54 front end parts question

If you look in the catalogs at places like LMC truck you can get exploded views of the front and all the parts. Print the pages you need to take with you and they make a great checklist.

Re: 54 front end parts question

Good idea about the lmc catalog I've ordered one but I'm sure it won't be in by the time I go look at it but I just printed out all the pages that I will need.
