Shortbed trailers part 2...
I had a few responses about procuring some shortbeds for fellow board members after mentioning that I had noticed quite a few shortbed trailers while traveling around the back roads near Lubbock. I haven't been out since that last post, and it doesn't appear that I'll be cruising around these parts anymore either. Found out 2 days ago that I have to be in Dallas by Aug. 1st if I want to keep my job. Looks like I'm moving. After reading teeitup's post, I hope I didn't piss anyone off. Any board members close to Forney (10 miles east of Mesquite) ? That's where we'll be moving to. Ya'll wish me luck driving the '69 400 miles from Lubbock to Dallas. That trucks never been driven any further than 50mi or so round trip. Hope that 2/60 air conditioner keeps me cool enough in this Texas Heat.

Hey sixnine,
Still interested in those trailers! LOL! (At least one) Planning a trip to TX. some time in Sept., hopefully! I've spent more chasing less, so if you can recall the location of a few, e-mail me with an approximate map, etc. Much appreciated! Good luck on the move! Mike
