DANG IT!!!! I went and did what I said I'd never do!!!!
I traded my 66 off. I almost felt like crying as it drove off to it's new home in another state. I've had this truck for about 7-8yrs now. I guess it's for the best though. I just couldn't seem to find the time to give her the attention she desperately needed. The bright side is that I have been wanting to get something fun for my kids to enjoy like a go kart or something. So I traded for something I know they will love. I'm still kickin myself for it. Still not sure what to think about the ol truck not being here anymore.
Here are some pics of truck just before it left my house and what I traded for.

Looks more like a dad toy than a kid toy, but you do what you think is right and the kids will love it Im sure

Yep! Still got it. I have acually added aother 82 Z/28 to the herd as well. I love Camaro's. I'd like to have one of each gen. Acually it is a true Z/28. It's a 1978 Z/28, originally a 4spd now auto, soon to be 4spd again. The hood, grill, wheel well flares, are 81 Z/28 and the fenders were replaced as there were some pretty good dings in them. I have new louver to go back in though. I've got some serious plans for this car.

Yeah. I think I made a couple of little girls REAL happy. They sat and played in that thing for half the day. LOL!

Re: DANG IT!!!! I went and did what I said I'd never do!!!!
As I will be moving north in a year or two when the wife retires (I know I am doing it backwards, Yankees move here, not us move there, but I have my reasons, plus I kinda like Maine) I often wonder if I should sell "Ginger" (my '63) as I would not want to kill her in the rust belt. I guess I could put her up in the winter in a barn. I could not let her rust to death, I just do not think I could ever part with the truck. If it were for a family members illness or some such I could do it in a heartbeat. It looks like you have lotsa other stuff to do and keep you busy! My little girl is all grown up and moved away, but she could get anything I have in a heartbeat! Have fun with the buggy and the girls, you blink your eyes and be walking them down the aisle.
