Fiberglass hood for 85

Should I go with Harwood or UP22?
It will be a lift-off style hood

Re: Fiberglass hood for 85

My buddy got a 6" cowl hood for his '75 GMC, from up22, it is well built, lots of material. But like all fiberglass hoods in needs finishing, to get gaps right and before paint. And under hood is unfinished.

That is what is drawing me to the Harwood. I can pick-up the Harwood from summit on my way to TX for close to the same price as the up22. The harwood has the underside finished. They are with in a few dollars of each other for total price with me picking up the Harwood from Summit and having the up22 shipped

Re: Fiberglass hood for 85

Yeah, The only reason my buddy went with up22 is because they were the only place that made a 6" hinged hood for the 73-80 style hoods. Everyone else was a lift off style hood at 6" or larger.

Re: Fiberglass hood for 85

Hawood only makes a 4" for our trucks in lift-off and 3" in bolt-on. His should be a 4" if it is a lift off
