Thanks.

Well it looks like I won’t be on the site as much, I sold the 83 yesterday to a good buddy from FSC. I’ll get to help with the buildup but I had zero time and money to keep her sitting around and he was looking for a new project.

Fired up after 2 starts.

I’ll be getting something more practical in a few weeks, 97 4 door Tahoe.

Thanks for all the answers and help I’ve gotten from this site, couldn’t ask for a better site for help on 73-87’s.

I'm gonna get another 73-87 for sure but I'm not sure how soon.

Dude, that is so not cool. J/K. I know how time, money, and family obligations are. The fact that you put your priorites ahead of your pleasure shows what kind of stuff you are made of.

Stay in touch when you can.... If not we will all come over to FSC and spam your @ss...

Hate to see you sell it, but in real life you do what you have to do.

But, I have one question. You say you didn't have the money but you have the money to buy a 97 Tahoe.

Oops. Just reread, now I see the pratical part too.

Good luck with it and don't be a stranger. Even if you don't have a 73-87, we'll still let you post.

sucks you had to sell your truck but i understand your views on it as i too am considering selling the 74 and getting a suburban to haul my kids around-ive taken them places in the 74 and while it worked it was cramped since there both still in car seats....there 3 and 2 and there dad is kinda a big guy....6-1 245lbs...so i think a suburban or even a K-5 blazer would better suit my needs but that wont be for quite sometime down the road as im short on spare cash right now.
