front wheel center line info

I'm hoping someone can help me out with some info. I am looking for a point to measure from and the measurement on the frame of a '63 (60-66) to find the wheel centerline of the front wheels when aired out so they are centered in the wheel opening. I know it needs to move forward some but am just not sure how much. Thanks.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: front wheel center line info

^Scoti answered it, but just incase you want to check it out on your rig....take the center of your wheel well opening and drop a plumb string (make sure the frame is as level as possible). Then use that as your reference for the spindle.

Re: front wheel center line info

If the 60-66's has a flaw, this would certainly be it(at stock hieght or lowered).
When I did my XM swap I kept it basic,(because its my 1st one)
2 holes to drill vs 14
PS box/bumper bracket rework
The location of the rad support XM also may come into play with this mod
Now that I'm done I kinda wish that I did move it forward(to facilitate future mods like lowering),it's still a rolling chassis so its not too late yet
