72 GMC Suburban front control arm?
Noticed a lot of vibration in the front end. Discovered what seems to me to be a significant wobble or excessive play in the upper control arms.
Can I simply tighten these up or do I need to upgrade/replace bushing? Possible alignment? |

Re: 72 GMC Suburban front control arm?
probably wouldn't hurt to put new bushings in, especially if they are original. an alignment after that is almost required IMO.

Re: 72 GMC Suburban front control arm?
Where specifically do you feel is it loose? At the shaft to mounting bolts or @ the shaft to bushings?

If it looks loose there, that suggests some shims fell out. Try to tighten things up & get it aligned.
