Parts Suppliers... I know of some but looking for others!

About to start 51 project. Truck is in great shape.

Body is solid and straight, most of that work is done.
Glass is new.
350/350 w/ 10 Bolt
Camaro front sub

A couple things I am looking for off the bat:

1) Complete wiring harness
&
2) Front and rear roll pans
&
3) Recessed rings for headlights
(Seen these on trucks and they look killer!)

I'd also like to widen the rear fenders if someone makes a spacer to weld to the fender, otherwise I can just get extra fenders and chop em up....
That or I may just split and widen the entire bed, and go with a bigger tub....

Shouldn't be hard to find the harness, but if someone has a good recommendation....

Also, I checked a few places online but didn't see the headlight bezels.
The ones I want dish back into the opening and recess the light....
I love the clean look.

Also not sure I've seen the rollpans online either...

LMC didn't seem to have the rings, not sure who else is big with the AD stuff

Truck gets here tonight or tomorrow

Sorry "Intimidator" you're about to be intimidated!

Visions of an easy bolt on headlight trim ring that will easily French your headlights is not to be. I DID find the kits for you though.

Here 'ya go:

I DID find an article online on how to install the kit with pictures, but now I can't find it again! I tink it was on the Rod and Custom website under Tech articles somewhere.

AH HA! Exactly what I was lookin for. I love the bare too, and paint to match. Clean clean clean clean clean

Not hard to do. Worst case, a little tucking and welding in some brackets. No-Problemo

I have used E Z Wire and It's-a-Snap and I liked the It's - a Snap better they both worked but I liked it better!

Re: Parts Suppliers... I know of some but looking for others!

Only pre-fab harness I ever used was a Painless....
well, I used a different one on a volkswagon dunebuggy conversion in 97, but I dont really count that

I'm just thinking that it would make sense to re-wire, and I don't really feel like making it from scratch... just gonna buy one.

Off to find cab mounts to order right now.

Gonna slide the cab back about 3 inches, and the box forward about 9 inches, and probably have to move the fenders back on the box a little.

What I got is a 51 7' box, but it looks like it can easily be shortened up a foot on this frame without any major modification.

I want to weld on the new cab mounts, then just jump the cab back a bit...

I could have just grabbed a 6 footer to begin with, but this thing is pretty dang clean and already has the subframed front that was done very well. saves me a bunch of work
