Would someone please post a photo of what a 64 283 would have looked like from the factory? I've got one that has chrome valve covers and air cleaner and I just don't think that's stock. Thanks in advance.

Here's my suburban engine. 1965. pretty much all original except for a couple hoses and clamps. Paint is orig on everything. It still has all it's factory decals and inspection stickers intact.

I have the exact same valve covers (they were chrome) as well on my 66' 283 so i think yours are stock. Unless it was some sort of fad to get your valve covers chromed back then
