i have a single cab short bed 1992 chevy 1500 and was wondering if i would be able to cut the plug off of my broken 4 wheel drive actuator and splice it to a 1997 actuator which looks the same except for the plug

Re: actuator issues
There are a lot of differences betweenthe '92 and '97 trucks. A LOT!!! Change it out to original parts and do not get into the habit of jacklegging repairs.
