Re: Monster Transmission???

I've read bad, seen good on "TV". The bad I read was they warranty the transmission is good until it's put in the vehicle and then you are on your own. TV swears to god they are the next best thing to slice bread. Keep asking these guys they'll give you the low down. "GEARZ" did a segment and did nothing but praise them. Comments here and there say otherwise. RESEARCH THEM!!

Re: Monster Transmission???

I have a stage 2 700R4 from them and it is holding up so far behind 450 hp or so. I do wish i had gotten the stage 3 but the trans has been great so far. First the tq converter would not lock up so i called them and they asked if i had a computer that hooks to trans and i said no... They said they wired it for a factory truck that would have had a computer. So they sent me a 97 doller lock up kit and a new pan gasket for free with no complaints at all. He was happy to do it. Kit got in 3 days later and i installed it when i installed my cast alum. pan and have not had any trouble out of it yet. I may be over the tq rating of it but still seems to do great. Have not and will not tow with it. If you do tow dont lock converter or try not to use 4th with any hills. 4th is a 700r4s worst area other then the tv.
