Best cab mounts?
I'm looking for a complete body mount kit with bolts and all. Rubber or that poly stuff, doesn't really matter, I just need the best price and fast shipping! I didn't pass inspection the other day cause the guy didn't like my mounts and I'm going to college in a couple weeks ANY reccomendations would be very much appreciated.

I have not installed the ones that I bought yet, but they look really good. I bought my complete set of rubber mounts with hardware from Tim Christian and other parts from him have been good quality.

I know you have a body lift so 'm not sure how that affects your decision, but for a stock 4x4, the 3/4 ton 2wd kit is the correct item to buy. I just bought a 2wd 1/2 ton kit from GMCPauls for <$60 delivered. This included all rubber, bushings, washers, bolts, etc. It was dropped shipped from Brothers I beleive and arrived in approx 1 week. I have used his 3/4 ton 2wd kit on a 4x4 with no problems. All the vendors sell essentially the same thing. Check around and see who can deliver it the fastest. You did not state what the inspection found wrong, you may be able to get buy with just a partial kit as they sell the pieces individually as well.

Thanks for the replies
It was actually the body lift that the inspector did not like but the rubber in my mounts are all shot anyway. I just wanna start off fresh with a new body mount set and get the body back to stock height. CPNE, does that kit come with mounts for the bed as well? $60 is a great price but I need to do both cab and bed.

That is for cab only. Again, only speaking stock applications, the bed bolts directly to the frame using 8 carriage bolts with nuts and lock washers. Basically hardware store stuff

Oh ok, cool. I just thought there were rubber spacers or something that went between the bed and frame. Thanks for the help

All right, thanks again for the insight everyone, I really appreciate it, especially with my pinch for time.
Tim, I'm not sure what I'm going to do. The two things the inspector really cringed at were the ungly body lift and the fact that there were no rubbers for the bed... but, since there's no need for anything but a bolt to hold the bed down, maybe he'll give me a sticker now. There's really no reason why he shouldn't, it's not like body lifts are illegal in my state. I'm going to run back over there tonight (he's only a few miles away) and see what he thinks. If I end up still needing some mounts, I'll get back to you by this evening. Thanks a lot.

I'm in NH and I guess, in my area at least, they're starting to crack down on lifted rigs.
I brought my LMC mag. in hand tonight to show the guy there's no rubbers out back and he himmed and hawed for another 30 minutes but I got my sticker today. For future inspections though, I think I'm going to look into "Farm" plates. I only drive the '72 in the winter, don't go very far cause of gas, and at least then I could jack the thing sky high and just say I have a muddy farm or something. I don't know, any reason why that wouldn't work?
