Re: Quick weekend fishing trip
Thanks Steve!
Took another quick overnight trip to the mountains yesterday afternoon. This area is called Hermit Lake near Westcliffe, CO. Still no fish but we had fun and got to see more beautiful country. I bolted on the Super Swampers for this trip to see how well they would handle the weight of the camper. They worked great! They handle the weight much better than the all terrains by far. No more leaning in the corners. Hermit Lake Nearby beaver dam Camp site with nature’s own leveling blocks Traveled up the trail past the lake for a few miles. Westcliffe way off down there in the valley. About a 1.5 - 2 hour trail ride View of Hermit Lake from up the trail a ways. Camera on superzoom Next lake….. Horseshoe Lake. The lake is a long hike from the trail. Camera on superzoom again Beauty shot A Marmot watching us crawl by. These are fuzzy little critters that live above timberline. Live SPOT GPS link. You can zoom in and see where we went. Be sure to flip it to Hybrid view! This SPOT feed will expire in 5 day after I turned the transmitter off this afternoon.
