any good looking brush gaurds?

ok I almost always run a brush/push bumper on my vehicles. but have never on a 88-98 except for a grille gaurd or 2. I'm looking for a cheap full brush gaurd, that will except as many lights as I can afford. I'm already running 4 on a headache rack, and i plan on putting 4 on the gaurd plus another four 4"ers integrated into the bumper. now im rambling whats a good looking brush gaurd? like it to be black. 89 chevy swb 350 4X4

I realize Soldotna isn't exactly "urban" and spotting moose on the brushline is a necessary evil up there, but from a practical perspective, why do you need so many forward facing lights? And are they normal halogen/incandescent or are they HID? Will your alternator be able to keep up with that sort of power requirement? Cheers.

headlights are HID the rest will most likely be a hologen with a blue cover. lightforces. each is pointing in a different direction, to light up everything i refuse to miss a moose ever again. not all the lights will be running at the same time. my alternator should be fine. I believe its a 240, but I'm running an extra deep cycle battery also. I realize thats a boat load of lights haha. I'm still debating putting them in the bumper, and just run 2 on the gaurd. that should be sufficient.

i just bought one from jcwhitney about a week ago and it just came in and is sitting in my living room i plan on putting it on tomorrow or friday it got me 140 with free shipping so i figured it was a good deal ill post pics with it on

well got it on the brushgaurd is pretty heavy and looks good heres some pics

that had an option for chrome and to not get the headlight gaurds didn't it. i used to have that one without the gaurds and in chrome.
hows it mount, I've always just drilled into the bumper, but theres gotta be a better/right way? looks killer with those headlights.nice truck!

they do have chrome but it was more money and it did drill into the bumper and thanks

its the hood scoop. thats why that truck looks way different than before. is there a lift on it?

no lift just 285s and theres about 2000 pounds of weight in the back of it

yeah i like bull bars too, but I just want to go a different direction on this truck. loudnlifted-2000 pounds of weight when those pics were taken? or just as it is now. and i know its off topic but whats the height from ground to the top ot the fender well, i dont know how far off mine is.

the first set of pic i uploaded it had 2000 pounds of weight but the one i uploaded last nite were when it was empty

I'm not sure what you're really looking for or how much you want to spend, but Ranch Hands are pretty awesome. My cousin (who is an idiot) rear ended a guy who was stopped at a light. My cousin was going 45 when he hit him. All it did was dent the Ranch hand and the hood a little bit. The other truck was totaled. They bolt to the frame, not the bumper. They run about $500, though. I'm hoping to get one this winter, 'cuz if you wax a deer with one of those, you're not going to worry about replacing a grille.

you know i was planning on going the same route as loud n lifted. but I have a feeling somewhere down the road I'll want one bolted to the frame, one that will really protect my truck. so I'm on the fence still. my big delimma is alot of these gaurds looks dumb on these trucks, but ranchhands are good looking.
