Need Help!

I am in dire need of an original th350 to NP205 adapter. Complete with coupler and bearings/seals.

This is the cast iron, 27 spline version.

I have heard these are still avail. through GM but they supposedly DONT use bearings anymore.

Can anyone help?

I don't know if they are available new, but I do know that the later factory OEM setup did not have the support bearings either. I am not sure what year they did away with the bearings, but my '72 still has them. Watch out for cracked adapter housings. They are prone to crack from using sealer instead of the gasket where it bolts to the t-case. Also, the gasket should be made of the "black composition" type. Some suppliers have cork & are too soft to compress without squishing out & will crack the adapter also. Too long of front driveshaft can do it when bottoming out the suspension also.
