Item check! What do I need to reinstall my A/C?
I have a compressor, and the old lines from the truck (unknown shape) so far I think everything else is there but I'm not totally sure, can any provide me with a list or diagram of the a/c layout on a 1984 c10? Also what will I have to do to hook it up and make sure it works? Suggestions? Maintence issues that may have popped up after being disconnected for 3 years minimum I donno when it was taken off before that.

Re: Item check! What do I need to reinstall my A/C?
Close the gap beween the condensor and radiator. You want max flow across the condensor. All later model cars and trucks use plastic to close off the gap. A new condensor should be crossflow. I think all R12 condensor are gone. Check to be sure.
You know it's a cross flow because all R134 goes across the condensor and returns back into one line. |
