cab differences 81-87
Are there differences in the cabs from 81-87 im lookin to get one for my 82 but wasnt sure.

absolutely no difference! Well besides getting a basic cab or a/c cab I believe there is a diffence in the firewall, and the glove box is different

but you can convert a non ac cab to an ac cab by cutting out the hole or visaversa by sealing up the extra hole

Hydro clutch mounting locations on firewall, I want to say 1985?
I think the glove box was shaved for the ECM's and spark control, California 1984? ECM brackets, 1985?

81-83 dash mounted wiper switch and lower mounted head light switch.
84-87 column mounted wiper switch and higher mounted head light switch.

81-83s also had the dimmer switch on the floor where 84-87 was on the column. Also, hydro clutch was introduced in 86 I believe.

all of those items were adaptable to the cab the cact is you can make an 81-87 work on a 73-80 and the cab itself is the same 81-87
