98 with rain in ac blower

Anyone run into problems with a ruined blower motor due to water in blower compartment? Checked evap drain and it is clear and will pass water through it. It has to be rainwater, is there a possibly a diverter or baffle missing somewhere?

Idk, mine did that the other day when I parked facing up hill. I heard the cage hitting the water and cut it off real quick. Once the truck leveled out it all drained right out. I'm wondering the same thing now....
