Pic of my money pits-

My mom is in town visiting and wanted a ride in a couple of my projects. Thought it was a good chance to get a pic of both together. Believe it or not - I like driving my 68 GMC better than the Diablo....

I'm not quite buying it - why do you like driving the pickup up more?

The Diablo gets way too much attention, cant go anywhere with out people wanting to take pics, talk, go for a ride, sit in it, follow me, ect. And yes, you cant see anything in the rear. Its a pain to back-up and park, and honestly the rowing gears in traffic gets old.

Now the truck- the 7.4l with the 4l80e and 3.73's is a blast to drive. In town the truck feels just as fast as the Diablo, lays out a second and sometimes third gear change chirp with ease. I can drive the crap out of the truck and not worry about nothing, I have to be super carefull with the car...

Re: Pic of my money pits-

So the Diablo is a project? Is it a kit based car, or why would it be a project?

Re: Pic of my money pits-

This was the car 7 months ago- I changed lanes and smashed into someone. The really bad part was the person I hit was filming me with their camera phone, so the whole event was captured. But the guy I hit had a suspended drivers license, no insurance, and expired inspection and tags. He went to jail, I got a ticket for failure to maintain lane which was later dismissed. His
S10 got a little scratch on the bumper which was already bent on the other side. After this I decided to redo all the interior, repaint (going to repaint it again soon), and update everything I could.... Hence the "project".

Re: Pic of my money pits-

I really like the color scheme of your truck and for that matter the car looks killer in silver.

Thanks for sharing both of them!
