Just checked the studs on the new heads. One stud is pulled up about 1/4in, and one got boogered up from the rocker sliding off.
So, maybe the cam is ok, BUT, if I got to start from scratch again, another new cam will go in, screw in studs and guide plates. First off I will have my old heads flow tested, see where I'm at with those heads. If they are ok and cheaper to freshen up than doing screw in studs on the new heads I may go back to them. I just ran across your thread. That's one awesome Blazer. I love seeing Blazers nearby...one of these days I will be in the market!
