disc brake question

I have a co-worker that would like to convert his 67 chevy 2WD 3/4 ton pick up to a disc brake setup. He would like to make sure what he can use for a donor truck. Specific years would be great. I'm pretty sure this is an obvious question but i want to triple check. Thanks!
