Re: Five + 1/2 into 2
Getting close to cleaned up for now. Nice dragging all this stuff home, but you still have to take it apart for the stuff you want and move it around twice and then haul off the left overs. Guess I still find it fun or I wouldn't do it, but I have said "this is it" for dragging used parts home.
More projects kicking around then I will ever be able to finish, but I'll try. Pics of todays work...... Dragging truck with stripped frame. Actually no leafs under, just frame sitting on rear end. Box is shot and giving the frame to my neices husband for a 1951 Chev project he is working on. Very clean frame with a bit better box, and have proper registration Straight rust free cab sitting on it's new clean straight frame. Will be put to the side for now as I work on the 74 cab with stepside project.

Re: Five + 1/2 into 2
Pic of the last clean up load off to the dump 2 months ago.....
Then two weeks ago......Another I shouldn't have.....BUT 1969 3/4 ton with a 350/T400 that ran 3 years ago. (Dates/codes as a 1974 police car motor, heavy duty 4 bolt main) little surprise in the back...1975 454 from a motor home with 42,000 miles, along with the heavy duty turbo 475 tranny. Pulled cover and very clean inside 350 under hood, clean under valve covers, aluminum intake Going to pull motor and trans and strip anything of value and then scrape the rest. All body panels are quite rusty. This is hopefully the last thing I drag home. Getting to tired of this stuff and need to concentrate on putting something together. Besides, even though there good deals, it is getting hard to get any money out of old parts anymore. Seems to take forever to sell things, and then everybody wants the parts for nothing. I seem to have to many friends that seem to give me a call any time they want to get rid of something or one of their friends is dumping something. One can only hoard so much
