coolant leak under pass side dash

I've got coolant leaking from under the passenger side dash. If I fill the radiator, it will leak down to the level of the hose that runs from the top of the radiator to the firewall. This coolant leaks out under the dash, across the floor and out under the pass door.

I plan on replacing the heater coil, is there anything else I should look at?

Nope, AFIK, that is the only coolant item in that area.

That happens all the time with a clogged or damaged heating core. Depending on the shape of all your hoses i'd replace them while i was at it

Re: coolant leak under pass side dash

Get a copper heater core, not an aluminum (usually aftermarket) one. If you can just hook the hoses together temporarily and wait a while, I would price a genuine GM/ AC Delco copper core from one of the online vendors. If it is not too much, I would go with OEM. This is one of those PITA jobs you don't want to do again if you don't have to, especially if you have A/C.
