Stock Hood Hinges
I did the search thing but couldn't find an answer, and it took too long to read all of the threads.
Has anyone 'rebuilt' their stock hinges? Years ago, I replaced mine as they were getting loose. Well, I just pulled them out of storage ('cuz I'm moving) and just can't toss them. Can you put new pins in the pivot points or is there a better way. Thanx, Steve |

Re: Stock Hood Hinges
They are still available new through GM. Depending on repair cost it may be cheaper that repairing.

Re: Stock Hood Hinges
Thanks for the info guys. Now that I know this, I won't toss mine in the scrap heap. I bought my replacements from a Chev dealer myself and they work fine.
