Re: What are these colors& codes?
The first code is D99. It list as... Two Tone Paint Mouldings.
The second code is 559. 559 is a two tone code for... 510 Med Blue and 523 Dark Blue. Sounds like a nice lookin truck.

Re: What are these colors& codes?
The truck is one color of blue, not sure if its original. What color are these? How would the med blue and dark blue look, is that outside or inside cab color schemes ?

Re: What are these colors& codes?
The code is for the exterior paint. From the factory your truck had upper and lower body side mouldings. Your roof and A pillars were med blue. The hood down to the upper moulding was dk blue. Between the upper and lower mouldings was med blue, and below the lower moulding it was dk blue. Here is a pic from the board of a GMC with a two tone white and blue scheme. On yours the white is med blue and the blue is dark blue.
Here is a GMC color chart so you can see the 510 med blue and 523 dk. blue EDIT: nightrider, I just realized that your paint code is a 500 series. That usually means a standard or convential two tone. The truck above is the deluxe two tone and would use a 400 series code number so your truck would of either had a med blue top and the rest dk. blue OR A med blue top then dk. blue down to the lower trim and med blue under that. Sorry for the mistake. I'll try to find some pics of a standad and a conventional scheme.

Re: What are these colors& codes?
Nightrider, I can't remember which one is standard or which one is conventional, but here is a pic of each from board members trucks. Check your SPID (glove box sticker) for moulding codes. Look for code BX1 or BX2

Re: What are these colors& codes?
Standard is just the top in accent color. Conventional is the accent top and lower.
