Just starting mine. Pulled the motor and found the problem. All the bearings in the lower end were shot. If you look close at the pic of the main bearing cap you can see it cracked all the way through.

Here are some pics of the interior when I got the truck. Im getting custom door panels and dash pad but they are not done yet. But here are a few pics of the new motor. Its a 355 with around 370hp.

I will add a couple from my now 3 year old resto...
Old 307 with 3spd manual with zero options for comfort 406 with all the goodies, shaved firewall,a/c power steering
