N8's AD affliction
I started messing around with Hot Rods when I was 14.
The first vehicle I ever built was a 1952 Chevy Pickup. Ever since then I have had a nasty affliction with the AD pickups. Today I own two of them. This will act kind of as a dual build thread. Here are some shots. 1952 GMC pickup (W/ Chevy grill) I am building this one for my wife. (At least that's what I told her) It will have four corner IFS and disk breaks and currently has a 454 resting in it. I don't think I am going to go forward with that because I will be using a 84 jag IRS and it wont handle the torque of the 454. So the 454 will go in my blazer and we will do a slightly milder engine for the wife. She likes to go fast so she doesn't need any more motivation...or speeding tickets. Re: N8's AD affliction
This is my 1950 Flat Bed.
This one is pretty much going to stay as is. I am going through the breaks and will upgrade the master cylinder but I have too many other projects that need prior attention. This one will be my work horse and stay as is. I like it that way. |
