Not too far away on this one. Did you say already what kind of paint you are using?

It's Valspar brand spray paint from Lowes. Its a Satin red. They have a few different colors now. I'm putting down a base layer of white primer (Valspar also) and really makes the red pop, and reduces the number of coats needed for good coverage.

Looking at the stance with the new wheels and tires, I'd like it to be a little lower, but I don't know if that will happen (at least for awhile ). I might put a 1" block in the back and maybe cut a coil or so off the front, but we'll see. Need to get it out in the light, get the wheel spacers, and see how it really looks.

Looks great.

I'm going the same route paint wise on my 69 K10 project just with a different color. It will be a parts hauler, winter beater & play toy that will get scratched up for sure. It won't hurt so bad when the paint is only $9 a quart.
