..Power Windows Advise

..I'm wanting to put power windows only (not door locks) in my '72 C10..My friend that's doing most of the build said we're close to that stage and that I need to decide and go ahead and order..He doesn't have suggestions on what brand or supplier..can yall help? I'm looking at a kit at Summit called Electric-Life..says it will bolt directly in place of the original mechanical ones @$254.
What do you guys think?..thanks for any advise.

X3 I used them too, but gees I had a had time getting the rollers to stay in the tracks while installing - no fault of A1 though. There's just not much room in the door openings to operate. Well worth it though.

Re: ..Power Windows Advise

I just got my truck back today. I bought the power windows from Summit. I have never seen a window move so fast. I think it is a great item. AAAAAAAA+++++++++

I looked for these on Summit but could not find them. Do you recall the part number?

Re: ..Power Windows Advise

Yep, Thats them. What switches has everyone been using, Also, how did you route through doors into cab. I used the old chrome Chevy switches in mine and routed wire through a rubber wire channel from my 96 Blazer. Every once in a while, if the door is open the switch won't work. Think its binding up the wire or something.
