Question on Jason's show truck
Jason's show truck is a one owner swb BB hard loaded 72 cheyenne super that is being restored Very correctly (painted wood in bed, smog pump, correct part no's and date codes, NOS parts etc). We have a set of NOS A/c Delco pleasurizer gold shocks which would be correct if you went to a chevy dealer and had new shocks put on your truck in 1972. Question is: should we use those or a set of NOS standard shocks which are dove gray?

Re: Question on Jason's show truck
Paul you need to put the grey spirals on the truck. Sell the replacements and spend the cash Hope you are good, maybe we can talk soon. Harold

Re: Question on Jason's show truck
It's a matter of personal opinion. Either would be correct. The big Delco decals do look cool on the Pleasurizers, but it's hard to beat the spirals too. Good luck!

Re: Question on Jason's show truck
Hey guys thanks for the response. Harold you were one of the ones I hoped would respond, Trevor I always respect your opinion and Josh your thinking was the reason I posted the question... the gold shock with the bright A/C delco logo would sure look cool but in my heart to be correct I knew we have to go with the spiral gray. I guess we can sell the gold ones.
Thanks again Paul

Re: Question on Jason's show truck
Given the extent you guys have gone to get things so original I'd go the gray. If yOU already have the Delcos use them. They are an easy change.
Is there a show for these trucks where rungs are judged to that point? Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Question on Jason's show truck
Stay correct since that is your goal. Then you can put the truck in a 100pt concourse show with Vettes,Camaros,Mustangs, etc. Why not?
