Blue Ridge

I got my parents to watch our boys this past Sunday and we took off riding up on the Blue Rdige Parkway. We drove over to Cherokee, NC then over to Waynesville, NC. Here's a few shots of some of the wonderful scenery.

Re: Blue Ridge

Real nice truck and one of my favorite areas of the country. Got to ride a large part of it last year on my motorcycle. I will be going back - just too beautiful. Wish I could take one of the trucks but it's over 700 miles to Ashville. Almost all the tunnels are in NC - they're pretty cool aren't they? Thanks for sharing. Truck is stunning with that backdrop.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Some of my favorite country up there. Just beautiful. And your truck is one of my favorites on the whole board.

Re: Blue Ridge

That truck is MY FAVORITE on this site and the scenery makes me want to take our 72Malibu convertible up there .Its strange that we have driven it to Washington state and back thru California to Texas and back home and will leave soon for Maine in it but its never been to the Great Smoky Mountains .I may just have to change that after our trip to Maine. Its always great to see your truck ,you have a way with that camera .You always have the best backdrops to shoot against.

Re: Blue Ridge

Ah yes....Waynesville....and the Maggie Valley....what a story that is!!

Always did like your truck (cuz I AM partial to the steps...even though I'm a long-time fleet owner), but it's never looked better than in theses pics! Nice job!

Didn't realize the summit was north of 6k ft. (like I said, what a story), that's pretty impressive for "back east".

Re: Blue Ridge

Thanks for all the compliments, guys! It really means alot.

Yes, it's really nice to live close enough to drive to alot of these areas. Someday, I would LOVE to be able to drive further out and take in the scenery of all of our great nation.
