Best way to clean the bed and bed-liner pics??
I would like to do something with the bed of my 72. Its in very good shape, not any major dents just dings and scratches and rust color. What would be the best thing for it. Should I paint it white or put one of them roll on bed liners or rhino lining? and what would be the best way to clean all the rust off of the bed. The wife thinks I should clean the rust and paint it white, but i am leaning towards the roll on liner. She thinks the roll on stuff wont look right on a older truck. Would love to see pics of bed liners.
and one more thing, is there a easy way to remove the wood grain tape..on my tailgate the wood grain stuff has came off half of the trim and would like to remove it all the way..is there a simple way to remove it? thanks |

Right!
The rolll on stuff will be peeling in no time at all. Drive it in to a rhino-liner place and get it done professionally- you won't regret it. I have done almost every single one of my trucks thru the years and am about to do my blazer interior. It is awesome stuff! Just my .02

I vote for a liner, roll on or a Rhinoliner (sprayed on). If you paint the bed you will hate to haul anything. I had Rhinoliner sprayed in my bed 3 years ago and it was the worth every dime.(425.00).
If you do the roll on type make sure the bed is beyond clean or it will not stick and will start to peel after a short time... Here is a pick of mine from 3 years a go and it still looks as good today.....

Nice looking bedliner Whybynu!
Do you haul stuff in it? Also, Some of our Michigan bed floors are not so nice. How does the spray on liner stick to uneven surfaces or small holes? Jim |

my buddy has one in his 88 shortbed he bought the roll/spray in crap, put it in his spray gun, and mixed in just a little bit of red paint, sprayed it in and he has a red spray in liner to match his truck, look good to but make sure that the bed is very clean or it will not work.
