Air bags ???

How much lift from original ride height can be acheived from a bolt on air bag kit for the front of 1990 Suburban 1/2ton? Hypothetically if I had a kit from ridetech made for my truck and I had 100psi in air bag wouldn't it sit higher than it would with 80 psi? Surely I don't want to run a air bag fully extended would I? I'm trying to go the other way than most of you guys with 2wds. I am going up instead of down but would still like to have airbags just to change ride height. I've been looking to install the spindle lift for 88-98. Just curious on how much more can be achieved with air bags.

Re: Air bags ???

if your using stock arms it wouldn't be much more then stock. jack up the front of your burb from the frame until the front suspension droops out (tires are bout to leave the ground). thats the max lift you'll get not including the spindles. also the ride would be terrible the suspension not having and down travel.

Yeah I didn't even think about that. I wasn't really looking for another 4 inches of lift or anything. But if I got an inch I'd be happy. If not, that's fine too. All I'm really looking to run is a 33x12.50. Already sportin a 31x12.50 all the way around. Just facinated with air bags. I use this ole burb to much to lower it.
